What is PEMF?

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field. It stimulates cell metabolism and increases oxygenation and blood flow. This supports overall wellness and the body’s natural ability to heal.

What to Expect from a PEMF Session?

• A typical PEMF session length depends on the type of session. However, generally expect a duration of at least 10 minutes up to an hour in length.
• For most treatments, a coil attached to the PEMF machine is passed across the human’s or animal’s body multiple times. The intensity of the pulse will be adjusted throughout the session with comfort always being the top priority.
• Because certain animals may be fearful of the coil being placed on their body or the slight ticking sound of the machine, we always take a few minutes to help them relax. It helps to have the owner present for the first session as well.
• PEMF is not a massage although most people and animals generally find it relaxing.
• PEMF should not be painful. If there is any discomfort, we can reduce the intensity.
• The body may pulse during the treatment. This is normal and should not cause concern.
